Photographing Istanbul on fujifilm

First landing in Istanbul at the start of march 2024 I set about capturing the city on fujifilm using the X-E4, X-H1 (for wet weather) with the lenses 35mm F2 & 50mm f2. We stayed in Taksim area which was a perfect base to travel around the city. My first day wasn’t a productive one but managed to get some general images whilst getting used to the city and people. The rest of the week was great and managed to produce some images I’m very happy with.

One notable trip we made was to Princes islands where we actually caught a full day of sunshine dispute the cloudy city. This was a ferry which cost under £3 for two of us and it took about 45 minute to get to the first island. There are four island in total but we got off at the largest and last island of the ferry journey. This day provided some of my favorite images from the week. Insert images.
